Appalachia Mission Trip - Every summer, youth (ninth grade and up) are invited to participate in the Appalachia Mission Trip.  The young people spent a week in the Appalachia area presenting a Vacation Bible School in an outdoor city park.  Each evening, they gather with other young people from across the ARP denomination for worship and fellowship.

HOPE HOUSE

Please bring an item or two of non-perishable food for people in need that come to the Hope House.  Please drop off items in the kitchen beside the Parlor and designate them for "Hope House."

Missions Committee seeks to expand:
The Missions Committee would like to invite all who have a heart for missions (particularly home missions) to join us!  We meet monthly on 1st Sunday nights after evening worship in the Emma Echols classroom.  If you are interested in local organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Hope House, Children’s Attention Home, or working with international students in the area, then we’d love to have you come and join our team as we seek to go and tell others about Christ.

Exciting opportunity!
Everybody (ages 13 and older) has the opportunity to help prepare Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes for shipping all over the world at the Charlotte Warehouse.  We have 3 dates to choose from:  Saturday, 11/27 from 2pm until 6 pm, Thursday, 12/2 from 5pm until 9pm, or Monday 12/6 from 5pm to 9pm.  We have been given 20 spots for each time and THEY WILL FILL UP FAST!  We plan to take the church bus each time.  Check your calendar and call Jennie Costner at 327-2385 to reserve YOUR spot TODAY!
